Reiki is a soft and effective method. The physical touch releases the feel-good hormone oxytocin while affecting the body's subtle energy system. Tensions dissolve so that you can let go so you can let go of what is causing pain, anxiety or other limitations.
And
Many physical ailments have a mental or emotional cause. Reiki dissolves tensions and releases what once caused them.
Reiki is not a quick-fix but works on several levels at the same time. You go into deep relaxation that allows the body to start a healing process.
After the course, you have the opportunity to participate in Reiki meetings to have coffee, change treatments, ask questions and exchange experiences.

It is a wonderful energy that has been added to Usui Reiki and here is some info about the course. Usui / Holy Fire Reiki is soft yet powerful and offers purification, healing, replenishment and guidance.
Holy Fire energy is of very high frequency from higher levels of consciousness and has high potential. It works continuously even when you are not focusing on energy and can heal spontaneously when problems arise.
Always respects free will.
Heals deeply and quickly.
Heals relationships and interactions with others.
Releases anxiety and replaces it with feelings of security.
Provides spontaneous guidance.
Tends to develop healthy qualities such as kindness, patience, self-confidence, vitality, enthusiasm, optimism, trust, joy, calm and can fill you with joy and the feeling of being loved.
After receiving the energy, it continues to develop and become more efficient. Being initiated into the Holy Fire allows you to release spiritual bonds that you may have grown out of but have not yet left, you can also free people or places from spirits.
William talks about the need for guidance from "Third Heaven", an explanation of this is given in the course, if you have guidance from "Second Heaven" it can stop and limit the person. With Holy Fire you are connected with "The Source" and HOLY here means WHOLE more than holy.
All spiritual guidance is to guide a student to the "Source" and then help the student to develop a stronger connection with the "Source".
